SP Provisions is one of Oregon’s oldest companies, in business since 1880. This family-owned company processes and distributes all types of meat, including : beef, pork, veal, lamb, game and poultry. SP Provisions also processes Natural Pork and “boutique” sausages (e.g. chicken, lamb and turkey) and its new line of beef, Cascade Natural Beef.

New Location, New Technology
A local company, SP Provisions’ opened its new office in Northwest Portland and moved in September 6, 2004. This brand new location houses 37 employees. SP Provisions’ new facility covers 16,000 square feet, 1,500 of which is office space; the rest is devoted to production.

The cooling system at this new facility is monitored by a computer. This technologically-advanced system oversees coolers, freezers, the assembly area and cutting and grinding rooms.
